Americas Cardroom’s $12 Million OSS to be even bigger with the $6 Million Venom! Americas Cardroom (ACR) has had a great 2019, thanks to its aggressive spirit. The US-facing poker site is always pushing the envelope, offering bigger and better action and it’s about to do it once more before the year comes to a close. Get ready for the upcoming Online Super Series (OSS), which will run November 20th through December 15th, and which includes 26 days of non-stop poker action. There will be $12 Million in guaranteed money handed out across a total of 150 tournaments by the time it’s over and this is an awesome way to finish the year.
The OSS is designed for all players, everyone from the beginners to the pros. It has a wide selection of events, including NLH, PLO, and PLO8, and has regular, turbo and hyper-turbo structures that players will love.
In the past, OSS events have included a single $1-million guaranteed event. However, since ACR is always raising the bar, this next one will have two of them. The first is set for Sunday, December 8th at 3pm ET and has a buy-in of $540, while the second will launch on November 20th with a $215 buy-in and 13 Day 1 options. Players who advance will go after a piece of the prize pool starting Sunday, December 15th at 3pm ET.
The $6 Million Venom is going to be the Featured Event of the OSS and starts on Wednesday, November 27th. It has a $2,650 buy-in, which may not seem appealing to some players. Fortunately, there are other ways to grab a seat and they don’t cost nearly as much. ACR is offering Step Tournaments, Skip Tournaments, Regular Satellites, Mega Satellites and Cyclones to earn a Venom seat for much less.
Cyclones are another great option, a twist to the step tournament format with a Blitz component. ACR introduces them on November 14th and the fun begins with players first selecting any step of the seven available – the lowest costs a mere $.25. After winning 5,000 chips, players advance to the next step and, making it through Step 7, win a $2,650 Venom seat.
